Get the support you need We care about your future so we set you up for success, with access to award-winning development programs to build your skills and engagement opportunities that make you feel part of the team from day one. Meet the students who are shaping the future of banking. I have had the chance to explore many facets of banking from emerging technology to business and in the same company and I would not have had this opportunity without BMO.

I also have met and allied with marginalized communities by joining Enterprise Resource Groups and volunteered with communities in need via BMO Volunteer Day.

Being BMO is a truly immersive experience. The internship program has been a game changer in helping me plan my career going forward. I am fortunate to start my career in an organization that embraces diversity, in which I was surrounded by colleagues with different backgrounds and expertise. Moving on to the full-time rotational program, I am excited to face new challenges in different parts of the business and to work with great people. Although this time around things were a bit different due to COVID, everyone has made every possible effort to make sure I feel like part of the team.

Instead of putting us to work right away, BMO made sure we were onboarded properly to work remotely, all while still receiving a full salary. No other employer that I know did the same. That shows that BMO really cares about its employees, even its interns.

That is exactly why I came back this year and I will continue to come back. Having worked with the company for two terms already, I have gained invaluable experiences and knowledge and worked with individuals who were not only supportive and encouraging, but pushed me to do my best. In my upcoming Corporate Banking role, I look forward to enhance my learning experience and challenge myself to further grow as an individual. Right from my first day, I felt extremely welcomed by my peers.

My manager always took the time out of his busy schedule to meet up with me to chat about my personal and professional development on a weekly basis, and everyone within my team truly cared about the work that I do. I have been introduced to several opportunities and challenges that involve collaboration, critical thinking and responsibility, resulting in the development of my skills.

Amidst this uncertain time, BMO has been working hard to prepare us for our future goals by providing a learning environment in which we can grow. Thank you, BMO! I have been able to work closely with several members of the Montreal team on a variety of projects and, from the first day, I worked on a live deal where I could really contribute. I look forward to starting my full-time position and to working with the team again.
